Another bumper crowd is expected for this season’s GUKPT Main Event, with a host of familiar faces set to descend on Luton. It would be a huge surprise to not see Grosvenor Poker sponsored pro Jeff Kimber battling it out at the tables as he is one of the most successful players in GUKPT history.

Kimber has 17 GUKPT Main Event cashes and an incredible 54 cashes when side events are included. Kimber has 11 GUKPT Main Event final table appearances and one victory, that coming in Walsall in 2008.All those cashes have helped Kimber top the GUKPT all time money list with $555,988 in earnings.

We should also see Richard Kellett return to Luton as he has some superb past results there. Kellet has 10 GUKPT Main Event cashes with seven of them seeing him reach the final table. He has finished third twice and been the runner-up twice in GUKPT Main Events, the most recent second-place finish coming in Leeds last month for £20,177.

In Luton, Kellett finished third in 2015 and seventh last year. If he turns up again, he is definitely one to watch.
